Lucy Lawless, a New Zealand performer and singer has a net worth in excess of $30 million. She is most recognized for her role as the title character in the television show "Xena: Warrior Princess" which aired for 143 episodes from 1995 until 2001. Since 1998, her net worth has fluctuated between a combination of Rob Tapert and her husband. Tapert co-created and executive produced "Xena".Lucy Lawless was born Lucille Frances Ryan on March 29th 1998 in Auckland, New Zealand. Her mother was a teacher and her father worked as a banker before becoming mayor of the city. She has five brothers and sisters and is second-to-last in the order. Lawless described her family's background as Irish Catholic and cites her mother's involvement in the local community as an influencer. Lawless was a performer from the beginning and appeared in her first musical at the age of ten. She took acting classes throughout high school. After graduating from Marist College, Lawless transferred to Auckland University for her language degree. Lawless was just 21 when she won Miss New Zealand 1989.
