Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. She is regarded as the new Queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban has been hailed as one of the best experienced and talented actresses in the Philippines. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to place Angelica Hale on ECMO Life-Support when she urgently required life-saving medical interventions. Her condition became severe and she suffered organ failure including kidneys that did not recover. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis became her new normal. For the eighteen days she spent in the Hospital, the life of her was changed for the better. After a year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the largest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. Angelica would be receiving the donated kidney from her mom. Angelica and her mother had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on September 13, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from one. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of being a star ever since.
