Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, was born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both of whom were lawyers. They moved to Oxfordshire at the age of five where she attended the Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she made the decision to become an actress. She was trained for many years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford where she studied acting and singing.
