Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop music industry is being influenced through his worldwide popularity. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The artist released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. Later in 2021 he performed in a duet with TINI's stream hit track Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo is a product of a household of music both his parents have been musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory component of his childhood. He was taught how to play the saxophone, guitar, piano, and ukulele as a young child. His first choice of career was to be a vet, his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from a Cuban.
